Anxiety & Trauma Therapy For Women in Massachusetts

Do you feel like your body is always bracing – on edge, overstimulated, and unable to fully exhale?

Maybe your mind won’t stop scanning for danger, looping through intrusive thoughts, worst-case scenarios, or panicking about your health or your children.

You might feel triggered in ways that don’t make sense, reacting more intensely than you want to. Sleep can feel off – your system exhausted, but wired.

For some women, this is connected to past trauma or abuse that still lives in the body; for others, it’s postpartum anxiety, OCD, chronic stress, or the weight of living in an unpredictable world. Either way, it’s hard to feel calm, present, or like yourself again.

You may look high-functioning on the outside, but inside, you feel overwhelmed and depleted.

You’ve tried coping strategies. You’ve tried pushing through. You’ve tried talking about it.

But the anxiety keeps returning…
That is often a sign that trauma – or stress about the collective instability so many of us are living through right now – is still living in the nervous system.

You are not alone – and you don’t have to navigate this journey by yourself.

My Therapy Approach

I specialize in helping women resolve anxiety at its roots – not just manage symptoms.

My work integrates:

  • Trauma-informed psychotherapy
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Somatic and nervous-system regulation
  • Integrative wellness and lifestyle coaching

We don’t just process emotions. We don’t just reframe thoughts. We don’t just build routines. We work at all three levels, brain, body, and lifestyle, so transformation is sustainable.

Healing isn’t just about reducing symptoms. It’s about building a life that feels aligned and sustainable. Alongside trauma treatment, I support women in regulating their nervous systems, understanding their personality patterns, simplifying their environments, and living more intentionally so they can move toward the goals that matter most to them.

Sessions are structured, focused, and collaborative. You won’t sit wondering what to talk about. We move intentionally toward relief.

How this practice is different:

Many women come here after trying traditional talk therapy and still feeling stuck. That’s because understanding a story isn’t the same as processing and releasing it.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

As an Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) specialist, I use this research-supported trauma modality to help the brain reprocess painful memories without prolonged exposure or repeated retelling. ART takes the best of EMDR as well as other modalities… using calming eye movements and guided imagery to help your brain reprocess distress quickly and effectively.. It allows clients to “keep the knowledge and lose the pain” of traumatic memories. With ART, you can experience relief in just 1–5 sessions for issues like:

  • Trauma and adverse childhood experiences
  • Panic attacks
  • OCD and intrusive thoughts
  • Health anxiety
  • Postpartum anxiety
  • Performance anxiety
  • Persistent stress that feels “stuck” in the body

Many women notice meaningful shifts in emotional reactivity, anxiety levels, and physical tension as unresolved memories are processed.

Extended 90-minute sessions are recommended when working through specific traumatic memories or entrenched anxiety patterns. These sessions allow for deeper, uninterrupted trauma processing.

For women who are short on time or hoping to move through multiple traumatic experiences more efficiently, I offer half-day ART intensives (3–4 hours). These focused formats are designed to address and resolve multiple traumas in a condensed, structured way.

The goal is not endless therapy. The goal is resolution.

Anxiety & Trauma Therapy For Women

Investment

I offer a highly personalized, integrative approach to therapy that is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and nervous system on any given day.

Personalized Therapy Sessions: $285

Each session is guided by what will be most supportive and effective for you in that moment. This may include a blend of somatic work, nervous system regulation, and deeper trauma processing approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), when appropriate.

While many sessions are around 50 minutes, sessions that involve deeper processing work – such as ART – tend to be closer to 90 minutes when possible, allowing space for meaningful and lasting shifts. There is no separate fee for this work; sessions are paced and extended as clinically indicated.

Half-Day Intensives: $1300

For those seeking a more focused and immersive experience, I offer a limited number of half-day (3-4 hour) intensives.

These are designed for women who are ready to move through something more deeply or efficiently, or who would like to dedicate uninterrupted time to processing and integration.

A half-day intensive can be a beautiful option if you already have a therapist you love and simply feel ready to work through a specific layer of trauma more directly. Many clients choose to come in for an intensive as a one-time investment in their well-being, allowing us to focus deeply on what feels stuck, before returning to their ongoing therapy with greater clarity and relief.

For others, an intensive can serve as a starting point for our work together, creating meaningful momentum that we then continue to build on in regular sessions. It can be a great opportunity for women who are short on time and want to work through multiple traumatic experiences at any point during our work together.

These sessions are intentionally spacious and paced to support your nervous system, allowing for deeper processing work, such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), in a way that feels grounded, supported, and effective.

A couple notes…

Services are available to adult female Massachusetts residents.

Most insurance plans reimburse only for standard 40–50 minute psychotherapy sessions. Your medical insurance plan may reimburse you for a portion of that cost or pay for the whole thing. It is your responsibility to confirm benefits. If I am an out-of-network provider for your insurance plan, and you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a monthly super bill for you to submit for potential reimbursement. Please reach out with questions.
